The Architectural Imagination: New Federal Project
15th Venice Architecture Biennale & Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit | Exhibit graphics | Completed in collaboration with Zago Architecture
The Architectural Imagination is an exhibition of speculative projects designed for specific sites in Detroit, Michigan, which opened to the public in the U.S. Pavilion at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale. We collaborated with Zago Architecture to design information graphics to be included in the exhibition. The Zago proposal draws upon data from public records and this information was designed by the candidate as a series of posters to accompany the architectural plans and models. Exhibits graphics include: United States Resettlement Areas (map), Refugee Housing Scenario (map), Refugees Admitted to the U.S. (chart), Resettlement Timeline, Detroit Population (chart), and Project Site (map).
Following the initial public exhibition at the U.S. Pavilion of the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale, this exhibition traveled to the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit.
